Sad discovery
Iza had had a fever for the last couple of days. Monday, I started seeing red bumps on her face and called the ped. He told me to come to his office Tuesday. During an afternoon bath however, I saw this (in the picture) and insisted that we see him the same day. Good call, we found the same bumps inside her throat! Benadryl and Calamine Lotion were prescribed and we all slept well that night.

so what was it, an allergic reaction, a rash, a bite?
ReplyDeleteThe doctor said "Roseola". It's a virus, starts with a few days of low grade fever and when the fever breaks, a sandpapery rash on the body.
