Yep, same lady that took our stroller for a test drive. I'm embaressed to say I didn't recognize her right away, maybe because my eyes were still adjusting after being blinded by the lime-green. I LOVE it!

Sad discovery
Iza had had a fever for the last couple of days. Monday, I started seeing red bumps on her face and called the ped. He told me to come to his office Tuesday. During an afternoon bath however, I saw this (in the picture) and insisted that we see him the same day. Good call, we found the same bumps inside her throat! Benadryl and Calamine Lotion were prescribed and we all slept well that night.

Some mommies and their babies were invited to our home to have a playdate. Iza had a blast. She also turned 10 months today.

Just not in my ear. We lazed about all day at home and just before Baba got home, we went out for some air. Iza got to shake out her whammies...she'd been whining all day long asking to be held.

I was there to hold Leon in after he managed to climb in the cart, but he looked pretty confident of Iza being able to push him around. We didn't let them get too far though :)

This is my favorite spot in our little apartment. The spring sun streams in and warms the sofa in just the right areas and whatever you put on the side table right in front of it gets the best light. It is the best place to wind down in with a cup of coffee and a book.

We need a name for...
Iza's latest infatuation. When she starts getting sleepy, she'll hug and kiss him and lie down with him. We've been calling me a very generic "Teddy," but think it's time to name him officially.
We're open for suggestions.

This girl doesn't stay still!
Masha Allah, but I cannot leave Iza anywhere without her getting into all the wrong places. Today she managed to climb onto the console using the chair that was there facing the wrong way. Miss Opportunist saw her chance and used it to get to the rabbit ears she'd been eyeing for a long time.

Daddy needs photography lessons
We took another trip out to the weather observatory in Central Park, this time Iza was able to look around as well. The camera died before we could have someone take a picture of all three of us together.

Oooh Love in Union Square
Totally uncheorographed shot, I promise. It just so happened that right before Harun would click, I saw Iza looking at me intently, and as any mom would, I pecked her right as the camera flashed. It ended up being the best picture of the night.

Iza hung out with some more friends tonight. The older kids were having carrots, and Iza thought she'd try her newly sprouted teeth on some too.

Thank God for back braces
The night before, Harun introduced me to the magic of the brace belt or girdle. I was able to take Iza outside despite the snowed in curbs. And that's Arlo a Sunnyside babysitting coop baby in my arms who wouldn't let me leave because he wanted to come outside with us.

I hate snow days
So I'm stealing someone else's picture for today. At least the horses look like they're loving it. I kinda know where this is, somewhere in Brooklyn, I've been to this horse barn. They have horse riding classes and pony rides for children. Nope, just checked, just someone's own pet horses from Long Island.
